Why Doesn’t the Trinity Have Three Thrones in Heaven?

by Servetus the Evangelical aka Kermit Zarley The three great monotheistic religions of the world are Judaism, Christianity, and Islam. All three claim to worship the one and only God, the God of the Bible. While all three base their beliefs on the Bible, they do not agree as to who this God is. Most … Continue reading Why Doesn’t the Trinity Have Three Thrones in Heaven?

Does the “Falling Away” & the Revelation of “Man of Sin” come First?

Introduction I was taught the pre-tribulation from when I first became a Christian and accepted it as being correct. I did not even know there was another teaching on this subject for many years as we did not have the internet in those days. I need to state that I have many Pre-Tribulation Christian friends … Continue reading Does the “Falling Away” & the Revelation of “Man of Sin” come First?

Sealed until the Time of the End – Jesus Return

God will, however, disclose the Advent of His Son to His faithful servants who have a heart like Daniel’s (as displayed in his prayer in the ninth chapter), those who faithfully and willingly strive to keep God’s commandments with a repentant heart, those who “do not look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporary, but the things which are not seen are eternal.”[21] God stated plainly upon whom He takes notice: “But on this one will I look: On him who is poor and of a contrite spirit, And who trembles at My word.”

Critique of Pre-Tribulation Imminence

Proverbs 18:17 In a lawsuit the first to speak seems right, until someone comes forward and cross-examines. Preface by Raymond I see on social media sites like Twitter and in conversation the idea that the Rapture can come at any time. Many will get angry and dismissive when confronted with the below explanation addressing is … Continue reading Critique of Pre-Tribulation Imminence

The Jesus that Peter taught in His First Sermon

Throughout this sermon Peter maintains a clear distinction between God and Jesus. It was God who performed the miracles in the life of Jesus, God Who allowed him to be slain according to “his counsel,” God Who raised him from the dead, and God Who exalted him. At a specific point in time God “made Jesus both Lord and Christ.” Nowhere in his sermon does Peter hint at the idea of Jesus being a Divine being or as having existed before his birth. His unjust death is seen as a real death. Throughout the sermon Peter treats Jesus the Nazarene as a genuine human being though one in whom God worked miraculous deeds and one whom has subsequently been highly exalted.

After Resurrection Comes the Judgment

It is because people are dead and not alive in any form that we eagerly await the coming of Jesus, who will raise the dead. Matthew 10:15; … Continue reading After Resurrection Comes the Judgment
